The association

Who are we?

Les roby du coeur is a Moroccan humanitarian organisation of international African solidarity and development, which aims to distribute food to those working in the taxi business in Africa who cannot make a living from their work to feed their families.

2020, the beginning

Born in Marrakech, in the middle of lockdown

Created in March 2020, the association les roby du coeur was founded in Marrakech by the founders of Roby Technologies, publisher of the Roby Taxi application in Africa. They already knew this population, and they watched it fall.

In that particularly complicated period of quarantine and great health distress, the association quickly grew to an international dimension in Africa. The team grows every day and recruits humanitarian experts.

The link with the taxi trade is no accident. A driver is a very important link in the social life of the country, and often the first contact for tourists visiting Africa. When the customers disappear, he has no safety net.

Our values

Four principles, and they are tested in the field

Respect

We need beneficiaries to be at the heart of our actions and our communication. We are not defending a brand or a banner: our only objective is to save people's lives with your help. Roby du Coeur must therefore be at their service and respect their dignity.

Transparency

The association is keen to be transparent on all aspects of its actions: management of donations, actions in the field, partnerships. Our team has to work on it on a daily basis.

Solidarity

We are convinced that it is together and with your help that we can change things, and thus act alongside beneficiaries, beyond taboos, fears, anxieties and beliefs.

Commitment

Commitment is a driving value within les roby du coeur. Taking it on as a volunteer means being at the service of others and being involved in a cause: saving the lives of workers in Africa.

Our fields of action

Where we intervene

The association may intervene alone, or in support of and in addition to government help.

Food aid

Our first mission, and the one that opens every door. Staples, bought in bulk and handed out as baskets.

Health & emergency

Responding fast when a health crisis or a natural disaster isolates a population.

Development

Getting past the emergency: supporting families so they regain lasting independence.

Water & sanitation

Access to drinking water and hygiene, the first barrier against disease in isolated areas.

We cannot change the world, but with your help we will do everything to make it better

Saving as many women, children and men in Africa as possible.
